We are looking to hire a a PURCHASER for a permanent position at Kurvinen Companies; Suomen Biathlon Oy and Ecoaims Oy.

Our family-owned company is financially stable and employs around 40 professionals.

Our brands include Biathlon Target System Kurvinen, Mecmill, and Ecoaims. Our facilities are located in Ylämylly, near Joensuu, with excellent transport connections.

Biathlon Target System Kurvinen has been a global leader in biathlon target and range systems for over four decades. Our expertise covers everything from biathlon target and range systems to the planning and construction of biathlon shooting ranges. In addition to manufacturing equipment and systems, we offer expert services for organizing competition events. Our products have been exported to over 50 countries. Mecmill provides high-quality machining subcontracting services for various industries.

Ecoaims Oy is a leading player in optical shooting technology. Through innovative technology, we aim to develop shooting sports into an environmentally friendly, high-quality, cost-effective, and safe activity. Ecoaims Oy works directly with enthusiasts, competitors, coaches, authorities, and other professionals to create new, exciting experiences in shooting sports. Our products have been exported to over 60 countries, and we actively participate in international competition events, including at the Olympic level.

WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE A PURCHASER TO JOIN OUR GROWING BUSINESS

As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for various national and international procurement operations and their development.

We expect you to have:

✔ Previous experience in purchasing within an international industrial environment
✔ Proven track record in developing procurement processes and supplier networks
✔ Strong communication and negotiation skills
✔ Good IT skills and experience with ERP systems
✔ A relevant technical or commercial education
✔ Initiative and accountability
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Fluent Finnish and English language skills

Considered as an advantage:

➕ Experience in electronics procurement

The Purchaser will report to the production managers of the companies.
